Michael P. Hollomon, Jr.

Mr. Hollomon, Managing Principal, was admitted to the practice of law in the State of California in 1989, having received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law. He has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Hollomon has also served as Arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

With over 15 years of civil litigation and trial experience, Mr. Hollomon has handled a wide variety of claims on behalf of self-insured businesses, public entities, insurance companies and their insureds. This experience includes litigating major injury, wrongful death and products liability claims; claims of assault, battery, false imprisonment, and civil rights violation; as well as various business-related disputes including retail banking liability claims, breach of contract, unfair competition, antitrust violations and unlawful restraint of trade. He also has significant experience investigating and litigating against S.I.U. (Fraud) claims. Mr. Hollomon’s appellate experience includes civil writ proceedings and appeals before the California Court of Appeal, the California Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit.

Mr. Hollomon is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Hollomon received considerable practical legal experience clerking for the Los Angeles County Superior Court and with the in-house legal department of State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company.
